The H76X, H76F, H76W, and H76Y-2507 duplex steel wafer check valves can be made into soft-sealed valves or hard-sealed valves. The function of a check valve is to allow the medium to flow in only one direction and prevent it from flowing in the opposite direction. Usually, this kind of valve works automatically. Under the pressure of the fluid flowing in one direction, the valve disc opens. When the fluid flows in the opposite direction, the fluid pressure and the self-weight of the disc cause the disc to act on the valve seat, thereby cutting off the flow of the medium.
The H76X, H76F, H76W and H76Y-2507 duplex steel wafer check valves have a double-disc structure, with two semi-circular valve plates, a valve shaft and a spring. The valve plates rotate around the valve shaft. When the pressure at the inlet end is greater than the spring resistance and the self-weight of the valve plate, the two valve plates rotate around the axis and close towards the middle. The valve opens and the medium flows. When the medium pressure at the inlet end is lower than that at the outlet end, the valve plate is pushed towards the valve seat by the spring pressure and the reverse pressure of the medium, and then pressed against the valve seat to close and prevent the backflow of the medium.
