The 2205 duplex steel lift wafer check valve is available in both soft and hard sealing types. The function of a check valve is to prevent backflow, allowing the medium to flow only in one direction and blocking the flow in the opposite direction. Usually, this type of valve operates automatically. The fluid pressure flowing from the inlet direction acts on the valve core of the check valve. When the valve core leaves the valve seat, the valve is opened and the medium passes through the valve. When the medium pressure at the inlet end decreases and is less than the sum of the spring pressure inside the lift wafer check valve and the reverse pressure of the medium, the valve core is pushed towards the valve seat, and the valve core tightly presses against the valve seat. At this time, the valve is closed.
