Overview** **AL-601™**, commercially known as **INCONEL® 601**, is a nickel-chromium-iron-aluminum alloy designed for excellent high-temperature strength and outstanding resistance to oxidation and other corrosive media. The aluminum addition in its composition provides exceptional oxidation resistance through the formation of a protective oxide scale at temperatures up to 1250°C (2280°F). This alloy combines high mechanical strength with good workability and weldability, making it suitable for a wide range of elevated temperature applications in thermal processing, power generation, and aerospace industries. --- #### **2.
