C276 alloys are widely used in chemical and petrochemical fields, such as in components and catalytic systems that are exposed to chlorinated organics. Hastelloy C-276 is a tungsten-containing nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with an extremely low silicon carbon content and is considered to be a versatile corrosion resistant alloy. Suitable for sulfuric acid solutions of various concentrations, it is one of the few materials that can be applied to hot concentrated sulfuric acid solutions. C276 alloys are suitable for a variety of chemical process industries containing oxidizing and reducing media. The high content of molybdenum and chromium make the alloy resistant to chloride ions, and the tungsten element further improves its corrosion resistance. C276 is one of the only materials that can resist the corrosion of humid chlorine, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solutions, and the alloy has significant corrosion resistance to high concentrations of salt chloride solutions (such as ferric chloride and copper chloride).

The alloy has the following properties:

① In the oxidation and reduction two atmospheric states, has excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media.

Excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion. The high content of molybdenum and chromium make the alloy resistant to chloride ion corrosion, and the tungsten element further improves the corrosion resistance. At the same time, C-276 alloy is one of the only several materials resistant to the corrosion of humid chlorine gas, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solutions, and has significant corrosion resistance to high concentrations of chloride salt solutions such as ferric chloride and copper chloride.

C series alloys are nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys. Because chromium can form a dense oxide film on the surface of the alloy, it has the ability to resist oxidation environment, and molybdenum mainly provides the ability to resist reduction environment. Therefore, C series alloys can be used in environments where there are both oxidizing and reducing media.

C series alloys are application alloys, especially C-276 alloys, which have been invented since the 1960s and still show strong market power after more than 40 years of testing. The C-4 was developed mainly to meet the needs of a small number of European users, and is currently only seen in older equipment. Packing of Standard Packing: 

Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 470 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
