The sealing structure of the knife gate valve adopts a spherical lining between a metal sealing ring and the valve seat cover. When in operation, the sealing ring can make appropriate spherical arc-shaped sliding within the valve body under different force conditions. The greater the pressure on the gate plate, the better the sealing performance (the principle is equivalent to the sealing structure of a check valve). This sealing structure can achieve a completely sealed state between the gate plate and the sealing ring, reaching zero leakage. Meanwhile, during the opening and closing process of the gate plate, the sealing surface is in a friction-free area, which increases the service life of the valve.
