It is applicable to pipelines carrying media such as pulp containing suspended particles and fibrous materials, sewage, coal slurry, ash slag and cement mixtures, etc. These media are cut off by means of blade-shaped gate plates that can cut fibrous materials. The valve body actually has no chamber. The gate rises and falls in the side guide groove and is tightly pressed against the valve seat by the lugs at the bottom. If a higher medium sealing performance is required, an O-shaped sealing valve seat can be selected to achieve bidirectional sealing. The knife gate valve is easy and flexible to operate, small in size, has a smooth passage, low flow resistance, light in weight, and is easy to install and disassemble. Its nominal size ranges from DN50 to DN800. It can work normally under a working pressure of 0.6MPa to 1.6MPa and a usage temperature of ≤100℃. The knife gate valve has a shearing function on its gate plate, which can scrape off the adhering substances on the sealing surface and automatically remove debris. Stainless steel gate plates can prevent seal leakage caused by corrosion.
