2205 double-phase steel manual concealed stem wedge-type metal-sealed gate valve adopts a wedge-type single gate plate structure for the valve plate and a concealed stem form for the valve stem, with manual operation. Gate valves are suitable for clean fresh water, seawater, liquids, gases, oil, steam and other media. 2205 duplex stainless steel and 2507 duplex stainless steel are duplex stainless steels with both ferritic and austenitic properties, integrating many beneficial properties of ferritic and austenitic steels. They have high chromium and molybdenum contents, thus possessing excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and uniform corrosion, as well as a high resistance to stress corrosion cracking

The 2205 double-phase steel concealed stem gate valve can only be used as a shut-off valve, fully open or fully closed, and cannot be used as a control valve. The opening and closing part is a gate plate. The movement direction of the gate plate is perpendicular to the fluid direction. The gate plate has two sealing surfaces, and the angles of the two sealing surfaces are wedge-shaped. The wedge-shaped Angle varies with the valve parameters.

During the opening or closing process of a concealed stem gate valve, the height of the valve (i.e., the position of the valve stem) does not change, but only the gate plate rises (opens) or falls (closes) inside the valve. This is because the valve stem nut is set on the gate plate, and there is a trapezoidal thread at the bottom end of the valve stem. When the handwheel rotates, it drives the valve stem to rotate. The gate plate with the nut moves up and down by rotating on the valve stem thread.
