The function of a check valve is to allow the medium to flow in only one direction and prevent it from flowing in the opposite direction. Usually, this kind of valve works automatically. Under the pressure of the fluid flowing in one direction, the valve disc opens. When the fluid flows in the opposite direction, the fluid pressure and the self-weight of the disc cause the disc to act on the valve seat, thereby cutting off the flow of the medium.
The H42W double-phase steel vertical check valve has a spring inside. It is normally in the closed state. When the pressure at the inlet end is greater than the spring resistance, the valve opens. When the medium pressure at the inlet end is lower than that at the outlet end, the spring pushes the valve core towards the valve seat to close the valve and prevent the backflow of the medium.
