The SD341X flanged telescopic butterfly valve features automatic compensation for the thermal expansion and contraction of pipelines and convenient installation and removal. It is an ideal device for regulating flow and cutting off fluid in industrial pipelines with temperatures below 120℃ and nominal pressures below 1.6MPa, such as those in the petroleum, chemical, power, papermaking, water supply and drainage, and municipal construction industries.
The working principle of SD341X flanged telescopic butterfly valve
Flanged expansion butterfly valves are divided into three types:
A. Standard type: When selecting, design and install in accordance with the design specifications of the expansion joint. If limit bolts are required, please specify during the design.
B. Fixed limit type: It can both extend and retract as well as limit, and has the function of fixing the telescopic part to prevent it from expanding and retracting. Its characteristics are multiple functions and a wider range of applications.
C. Extended type: It is to lengthen the expansion joint of the ordinary telescopic butterfly valve to make its length meet the user's required length (excluding the expansion amount). Its feature is that when the old pipeline is renovated, the valves on the original pipeline need to be updated and replaced. There is no need to cut the lining of the connection part of the valve on the original pipeline; it can be replaced. When selecting the extended type, limit measures should also be considered. If limit measures are required, please specify them during the design.
