The 2507 duplex steel hard-sealed butterfly valve is a corrosion-resistant valve with multi-layer metal sealing and a three-eccentric structure. The connection methods include flange, wafer, and welding. The models are D673Y, D963W, D373Y, D643Y, D943W, and D343Y. It is used for media such as high-concentration chloride ion liquids and high-salt wastewater. The 2507 duplex steel hard-sealed butterfly valve is available in various operation modes such as electric, pneumatic, worm gear, sprocket and handle. The nominal pressure ranges from PN1.0MPA to 6.4MPA, and the nominal diameter is from DN50 to DN1200.

The 2507 duplex steel hard-sealed butterfly valve features a valve body, valve plate, cover, valve stem, etc. all made of 2507 super duplex steel, which is resistant to chloride ion corrosion and acid and alkali corrosion. 2507 duplex steel is a ferritic-austenitic duplex stainless steel. It combines the beneficial properties of both ferritic and austenitic structures, with high chromium and molybdenum content. Therefore, it has excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and uniform corrosion, as well as a high resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Moreover, it has a high mechanical strength.

Pneumatic actuator

2507 duplex steel hard-sealed butterfly valve, which can be equipped with pneumatic operation. There are two types of pneumatic actuators: single-acting (spring return) and double-acting. The switching actions of the actuators are all accomplished through the drive of the air source, and they are double-acting pneumatic. Only when the opening action is driven by the air source and the closing action is reset by the spring, it is single-acting pneumatic.

Cylinders are classified by torque into rack and pinion pneumatic (with a small and constant output torque) and fork-type pneumatic (with a large output torque that varies with Angle).

Cylinder materials: aluminum alloy, cast steel, cast iron, stainless steel.

When the fork-type pneumatic actuator is in operation, the torque is variable. The output torque changes with the Angle, and the torque value is the greatest at the open or closed position of the valve, which is exactly in line with the law of the valve. Compared with rack and pinion actuators, fork pneumatic actuators can save more torque because the force of rack and pinion actuators is constant.

The working principle of the fork-type pneumatic system

After compressed air enters the cylinder, it drives the fork-type piston to move. The linear motion of the piston is converted into the rotational motion of the disc through the fork, and the disc drives the output shaft to rotate, thereby achieving the control of the valve.

Pneumatic installation standard:

1. Quick installation: The bottom installation surface of the cylinder (valve connection) complies with ISO5211 and DIN3337 standards and is designed with multiple adapter plate connection threaded holes. In case the ISO hole at the bottom of the cylinder does not match the flange hole of the valve (such as the American standard or other standards), the adapter disc of our company can be used appropriately to complete the connection. There are also various specifications of adapter sleeves suitable for different valve stem sizes for installation.

2. The top mounting surface complies with the VDI/VDE3845 standard, facilitating the installation of positioners, limit switch boxes and other accessories.

3. The stainless steel 304 adjustable positioning bolts enable the output shaft to achieve a rotational accuracy adjustment of +/-5 degrees.

4. The side air intake interface connection complies with the VDI/VDE3845 NAMUR standard, allowing for the convenient installation of solenoid valves.

Electric actuator

The performance of the electric actuator complies with the provisions of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves). The performance of the flameproof type complies with the provisions of GB3836.1-2000 (Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Gas Atmospheres - Part 1: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000(Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Gas Atmospheres - Part 2: Flameproof type 'd'), and JB/T8529-1997(Technical Conditions for Flameproof Electric Installations).

Electric technology conditions

1. Power supply: The motor is three-phase AC380V, 50Hz. The control is two-phase AC220V,50Hz. Optional power supply: AC220~660V, 50.60Hz. 2. Explosion-proof grade: Explosive gas mixtures in groups T1 to T4.

3. Protection grade; IP65/67 (Special order IP68).

4. The motor is in working mode. The rated operating time is 10 minutes. F-class insulation.

5. Anti-corrosion coating: High-temperature baking varnish.

6. Control modes: Switch quantity, analog quantity, bus system, bus + conventional.
