The slag locking ball valve and the flushing valve are bidirectional rotating full-section on-off ball valves with a fixed ball structure. The valve adopts a high-temperature slag locking structure. The metal and protective coatings of the valve body and internal components have good usability against impact, corrosion and abrasion.
Valve stem anti-blowout design
The valve stem and the ball are independent. The end of the valve stem close to the ball is designed as an integral T-shaped structure. The pressure cover flange can block this T-shaped valve stem to prevent it from being blown out by the pressure in the valve cavity of the slag lock ball valve.
Valve seat double piston effect
Both the front and back of the valve seat can form an area difference. Under the action of the upstream and downstream media or the pressure in the middle cavity, the valve seat can be pushed towards the ball, achieving the sealing of the slag lock ball valve.
The piston effect is a sealing form that uses pipeline pressure to push the valve seat to hold the ball.
When using a double-piston effect valve seat, once the upstream valve seat leaks, the pressure enters the middle chamber and pushes the downstream valve seat. Due to the double-piston effect valve seat design, the downstream valve seat will conversely hold the ball to achieve sealing. Therefore, the sealing of the double-piston ball valve is more reliable and it is applied in situations where the sealing requirements are extremely strict.
Anti-static device
The valve stem of the metal slag lock ball valve is equipped with a spring grounding plug nail, which enables the ball, valve stem and valve body to come into contact, forming a conductive circuit. This can transfer the electric charge, thereby avoiding the accumulation of static electricity caused by friction during valve opening and closing or the accumulation of static electricity caused by fluid impact on the inner cavity of the valve body. This is because such static electricity accumulation is extremely dangerous for pipelines in some hazardous areas.

The slag locking ball valve is a special type of metal hard-sealed ball valve used in working conditions. It is one of the indispensable important equipment in coal chemical plants. It adopts a hard alloy self-scraping mechanism to achieve self-cleaning of the ball surface while the valve is opening and closing, preventing ash and slag from blocking the sealing surface of the ball. The trouble-free operation time of key sealing components such as the ball, valve seat, and spring is no less than 6,000 hours. The bidirectional sealing leakage reaches ANSI B16, 104 Class V at the maximum pressure difference. The slag-locking valve and the flushing valve are the most important valves in the gasification unit. The slag lock ball valve is resistant to high temperature, high pressure and direct erosion by ash and slag, and has frequent opening and closing times. It requires a tight seal in both directions under high pressure difference conditions, and has very high requirements for the structure and material of the valve. Valves can withstand the erosion of any harsh media such as catalysts, ores, polymers and other wear-resistant media, as well as the corrosion of strong alkali and strong acid media.
