Q61N High-pressure Welded Ball Valve Overview
The Q61N high-pressure butt-weld ball valve divides the valve body into three parts along the cross-section perpendicular to the axis of the valve passage at the two valve seats. The entire valve is symmetrical left and right along the center axis of the valve stem. The high-pressure forged steel ball valve is mainly used on pipelines for cutting off, distributing, and changing the direction of the medium flow. Its large pivot structure ensures the accurate center position of the ball in high pressure, ensuring the excellent operational performance of the valve.
The features of the Q61N high-pressure butt-weld ball valve
1. When the abnormal pressure in the valve chamber exceeds the preload force of the spring, the valve seat retreats and detaches from the ball, achieving the effect of automatic pressure relief. After the pressure relief, the valve seat automatically returns to its original position.
2. In case of fire or due to abnormal heating causing the valve seat sealing ring to be burned or softened, under the action of the spring and the medium pressure, the spherical part of the supporting ring and the ball form a metal-to-metal contact, achieving a temporary sealing effect and preventing the fire from further spreading.
3. The sealing at the packing cover position adopts a dual seal of PTFR packing and O-ring. It is particularly suitable for gas media. The packing is installed in the packing disc, and a new SF type self-lubricating sliding shaft liner with a low friction coefficient can be used at any time to reduce the operating torque.
Q61N High-pressure Welded Ball Valve Related Applications
The high-pressure welded ball valve is made of forged materials. The density of the material is much higher than that of cast materials, making it particularly suitable for the manufacturing and processing of high-pressure ball valves. The closing element of the high-pressure forged steel ball valve rotates around the center line of the valve body to achieve opening and closing. The sealing element is embedded in the stainless steel valve seat, and the tail end of the metal valve seat is equipped with a spring. When the sealing surface is worn or burned out, the spring acts to push the valve seat and the ball together to form a metal seal. It has a unique automatic pressure relief function. When the medium pressure in the valve chamber exceeds the spring's preload force, the outlet end valve seat retreats and detaches from the ball, achieving the effect of automatic pressure relief. After the pressure relief, the valve seat automatically resets. It is suitable for general working media such as water, solvents, acids, and natural gas, and is also suitable for media with harsh working conditions, such as oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, methane, and ethylene. It is widely used in various industries.
Packing of Standard Packing:
Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 470 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request. E FORUs’ is carefully handled to minimize damage during storage and transportation and to preserve the quality of our products in their original condition
