1.4529 super austenitic stainless steel, commonly known as hexagonal molybdenum steel, has the following main alloy components: 20Cr-25Ni-6Mo-1Cu-0.2N has a very high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in halide media and sulfur-hydrogen acidic environments. It can effectively resist chloride ion stress corrosion cracking. It also has good corrosion resistance in oxidizing and reducing media, with good stability and slightly better mechanical properties than 904L.
1.4529 stainless steel ball valves can be flanged or welded. They come in two structures: floating ball and fixed ball.
