### **Product Introduction: Nickelvac® 606 (ERNiCr-3) Nickel-Chromium Welding Superalloy**
**Nickelvac 606 (AWS Class ERNiCr-3)** is a nickel-chromium welding consumable specifically designed for joining nickel-chromium and nickel-chromium-iron alloys. This solid-solution strengthened superalloy wire provides excellent weld metal properties that match or exceed the performance of base metals such as Alloy 600, 601, and 800 series. The alloy is characterized by its superior resistance to oxidation, carburization, and corrosion in high-temperature environments, making it ideal for critical welding applications in aggressive service conditions.
As a welding filler metal, Nickelvac 606 produces ductile, crack-resistant welds with good mechanical properties from cryogenic temperatures up to 1150°C (2100°F). Its carefully balanced composition ensures microstructural stability and consistent performance in both as-welded and post-weld heat-treated conditions.
