**Product Data Sheet: Alloy K-500 / Monel K-500 (UNS N05500)**
**1. Overview** Alloy K-500 (UNS N05500), commonly known as Monel K-500, is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-copper alloy with the addition of aluminum and titanium. It combines the excellent corrosion resistance of Monel 400 with significantly higher strength and hardness achieved through age-hardening heat treatment. This alloy maintains good ductility and toughness over a wide temperature range, making it suitable for demanding applications in marine, oil and gas, and aerospace industries.
**2. International Standards**
- **ASTM Standards**: B865 (Forgings), B366 (Fittings), B564 (Forgings)
- **ASME Standards**: SB-865, SB-366, SB-564
- **AMS Standards**: AMS 4676 (Bar, Forgings)
- **EN/DIN Standards**: 2.4375 (EN)
- **Other**: UNS N05500, NACE MR0175 compliant
