### **Technical Datasheet: Nickel 200 Sheet (UNS N02200)**
#### **1. Product Overview**
**Nickel 200 Sheet** (commercially known as **Alloy 200 Sheet**) is a thin, flat-rolled product manufactured from commercially pure nickel (99.6% minimum). This product form combines excellent corrosion resistance with good forming characteristics, making it ideal for applications requiring precise fabrication and reliable performance in corrosive environments.
Nickel 200 Sheet maintains its mechanical integrity and corrosion resistance across a wide temperature range, from cryogenic conditions up to approximately **315°C (600°F)**. The material's excellent ductility and weldability allow for complex forming operations and fabrication of intricate components.
**Important Note:** For continuous high-temperature service above 315°C (600°F), **Nickel 201 Sheet (UNS N02201)** is recommended due to its lower carbon content, which prevents embrittlement from grain-boundary carbide formation.
#### **2. Chemical Composition (% Weight)**
Composition conforms to ASTM B162 standard for nickel plate, sheet, and strip.
| Element | Content (%) (ASTM B162) | Content (%) (Typical) |
| :--- | :--- | :--- |
