The Z23Y and Z23X mud gate valves are valves suitable for controlling mud mixtures during drilling processes - commonly referred to as mud valves, and they belong to the field of high-pressure valve technology. The valve comprises a valve body with an inlet and an outlet liquid end. A flat gate plate is installed in the valve seat between the inlet and outlet liquid ends of the valve body. The upper end of the flat gate plate is connected to the valve stem. The valve stem is connected to the handwheel through a threaded pair. The improvement lies in: The valve seat is composed of two rubber-coated inner ring skeletons and a supporting ring to form a channel. Its horizontal cross-section is elliptical with a long axis consistent with the liquid flow direction, and is embedded in the blind hole between the inlet and outlet ends of the valve body. Between the two rubber-coated inner ring skeletons, there is an arc groove with a width less than the thickness of the flat gate plate. Due to the interference fit formed between the oval cross-section valve seat and the blind hole on the valve body, it reduces the large-area interference with the valve body, thus achieving an ideal sealing effect. Meanwhile, the circular ring inner skeleton in the valve seat maintains the basic shape of the valve seat for a long time, ensuring its sufficient service life. The Z23Y and Z23X mud gate valves are mainly used in the mud circulation system equipment of oil mine drilling, controlling the flow and closure of mud. The connection form is trapezoidal thread or flange type, which is quick and convenient to install, has strong rigidity, is safe and reliable, and has a good sealing effect between the valve seat and the gate plate, and is easy to open. The two ends of the valve are connected and sealed with the pipeline. The movable joint adopts a combination of spherical movable contact and O-ring rubber sealing ring.
