Product Features:

The knife type slurry gate valve is made in two forms according to different diameters: concealed stem and exposed stem (concealed stem DN50-900mm, exposed stem DN50-900mm). The fully circular direct current channel design ensures no slag accumulation and no jamming. The bottom end of the knife plate is processed into a blade shape, which has the function of cutting soft materials such as fibers, pulp and wood pulp, and also has a good opening and closing effect. A hard polytetrafluoroethylene sludge scraper is installed at the upper end of the knife plate, which can prevent abrasive substances such as dust and sand from entering the stuffing box and significantly increase the service life of the knife plate. The valve plate material is made of stainless steel and undergoes fine grinding and polishing treatment to achieve a better sealing effect. Compact design, small space occupation, light weight, low cost, easy installation, perfect wear-resistant and anti-clogging measures, convenient maintenance, easy to use and long service life, and the drive device can be selected at will.

2. Both the valve body and the stuffing box are precisely cast. The valve body is made by integral casting with a flange. The material can be selected as 304, 316, 316L, WCB, or 2Crl3 according to the user's needs. The sealing ring is made of PTFE-reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene, which is corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, and does not stick to debris.

3. The valve plate has five support points, which enables the valve plate to have excellent self-centering. When the valve is in the closed state and subjected to back pressure, the valve plate does not shift.

4. The knife-shaped slurry gate valve can be equipped with handwheels, manual zippers, spur gear transmission, bevel gear transmission, pneumatic and electric.

5. The interior of the knife-shaped slurry gate valve can be made into V-shaped, triangular or pentagonal channels. The V-shaped gate plate can be used for regulating and controlling.

6. The connection forms of the knife-shaped slurry gate valve include wafer type and flange support ear type. The seals include metal-to-metal hard seal, metal-to-polyurethane seal and reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene soft seal.

7. Applicable media: Gold ore powder, tailings, pulp, wood pulp, fibers, dust, chemical treatment wastewater, sedimentation tanks, mineral sand, slag, coal slime, asphalt, silo outlets, fruits, grains, cement slurry, slaughterhouse wastewater, etc.

8. Working temperature:

Soft seal (PTFE) : -40℃ to 180℃

Carbon steel: -29℃ to 425℃

Stainless steel: -40℃ to 600℃

Chromium, molybdenum and vanadium steel: ≤550℃

Working pressure: 0.6-1.6 MPa

It is applied in fields such as chemical engineering, coal, sugar refining, sewage treatment, and papermaking, and is particularly suitable for use in the papermaking industry for regulation and throttling on pipelines.

Packing of Standard Packing: 

Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum.
