F53 Duplex Stainless Steel threaded check valve, Duplex stainless steel (abbreviated as DSS), has two metallographic structures of austenite and ferrite, hence the name Duplex stainless steel. Its characteristic is resistance to chloride ion corrosion. This type of steel is characterized by low carbon content, high chromium, high nickel, high molybdenum and high nitrogen. This type of steel has excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, with a pitting corrosion equivalent greater than 40.
