2205 duplex steel check valve, available in swing type, lift type and vertical type. 2205 duplex steel is resistant to corrosion from seawater and chloride ions. A check valve is a type of valve with a circular disc as its opening and closing part, which operates by its own weight and the pressure of the medium to prevent the backflow of the medium. It is also known as a non-return valve or a one-way valve. The movement mode of the valve disc is divided into lifting type and swing type.

The lift check valve is similar in structure to the stop valve, except that it lacks the valve stem to drive the valve disc. The medium flows in from the inlet end (lower side) and out from the outlet end (upper side). When the inlet pressure is greater than the sum of the weight of the valve disc and its flow resistance, the valve is opened. Conversely, the valve is closed when the medium flows back.

The swing check valve has a slanted disc that can rotate around an axis, and its working principle is similar to that of the lift check valve.

Duplex Stainless Steel (abbreviated as DSS), with two metallographic structures of austenite and ferrite, is thus named Duplex stainless steel. Its characteristic is resistance to chloride ion corrosion. This type of steel is characterized by low carbon content, high chromium, high nickel, high molybdenum and high nitrogen. This type of steel has excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, with a pitting corrosion equivalent greater than 40.

Their opening and closing parts are automatically opened or closed by the force of the flowing medium. Check valves are only used in pipelines where the medium flows in one direction to prevent the medium from flowing back and avoid accidents.
