The preparation method of C.I. Pigment White 10 (513-77-9):

1. Carbonization method. The aqueous solution of barium sulfide reacts with carbon dioxide to form the precipitate of barium carbonate. The precipitate is mixed with ammonia water, desulfurized, filtered, dried, and then the barium carbonate precipitate is obtained.

2. Double decomposition method. The aqueous solution of ammonium bicarbonate is mixed with ammonia water, and then reacts with the barium chloride solution.

3. Toxic heavy mineral method. Mix the toxic heavy mineral powder with ammonium chloride, and place it in a muffle furnace for reaction to obtain barium chloride. Then react with ammonium carbonate to precipitate barium carbonate, filter, dry, and crush.
