This type of ball valve adopts a three-piece valve body and a double floating valve seat design. When the pressure driving the valve seat on one side increases, the valve seat can closely adhere to the spherical surface for sealing. In short, when the pressure drops, the valve seat will loosen the spherical surface. This type of valve is equipped with a floating valve seat and sealing ring, which enables the valve to be opened and closed easily by applying pressure. Even for the largest valve, the opening and closing torque is very light and easy to control. Therefore, this type of valve is particularly suitable for the front end of the turbine in a hydropower station as a valve for opening and closing the water gate.
